I just watched in a violent nature since it hit shudder. So I went back and listened to you and Joel review. I was a slightly higher on it. 8.5/10. It did something different but not a perfect movie. I got lot to say on the movie. Some good some bad some really good aspects. I went into it with low expectations bc I’ve only heard bad things so maybe it helped my viewing

Thx for letting me chat strangers with yall. And so glad everyone loved Romulus. That movie rules! And great review of hell night. I really like that movie. A fun early 80s slasher so you know I’m gonna praise it.

Great to have the big show back! Y’all may already know this by now, but regarding the Longlegs score – Zilgi is a pseudonym that Elvis Perkins was working under for the film.

Man, I couldn’t agree with the sentiment that Baghead was better than Talk to Me though. I know opinions are subjective, but that one had me thinking “Wrong, Martin” 😅

Listen here pal!! Nah, that’s fine that you liked Talk to Me better. It thought it was forced and a bit overrated because of the little twist at the end. I’m sticking with my opinion!

Good show so far! Don’t really agree with all the glowing reviews of the new alien movie. I thought the movie was fine, but it sidelined the titular creature too much. Ripping of Alien Resurrection for the ending was a choice I guess. I think I like Resurrection better actually, as it’s more original.

As a big fan Jay, I have been listening to your podcasts (and Rons) in some form since 2015-2016 I kind of like the episodes to be a bit shorter but more frequent.
