Thank you for listening to Jay of the Dead’s New Horror Movies, The Gold Standard of Horror Movie Podcasts.
So is this show dead now? No new episodes in forever.
Hi Carl,
Jay of the Dead here. Thanks for your question.
Absolutely not! This podcast is NOT dead.
I got very sick way back on Nov. 21 and have been sick ever since. I was even hospitalized for a little bit there (pneumonia / sepsis / pulmonary embolism). It got pretty serious and scary for a while there… But thankfully, I’m slowly on the mend now.
Jay of the Dead’s New Horror Movies is NOT dead at all. In fact, we’re going to start releasing again a week from today (on Jan. 4). Also, we’ve got our Top 10 Horror Movies of 2022 show coming up soon — and lots more! Thanks for your patience.
I’m sorry. I announce things on Twitter, and I guess I foolishly assume the news spreads throughout the community. I should have posted an announcement here on the site, too. My apologies to everyone.
If you thought 2022 was a fun year for this podcast, JUST WAIT ’til you see what’s in store for 2023!
Thanks again!
Sincerely,
Jay of the Dead
Thank you for your reply.
I’m sorry to hear about your health issues. I hope that you’ll feel better soon.
I wish you a happy new year!
/ Carl
Yo Mister Watson!!
Your fellow horror avengers have me scrambling around the net catching up on all their old and new shows, but I need Horror Corridor STAT, brother! Where’s it at??
Cole, you won’t believe what I’m about to tell you… I don’t even believe it myself, but dude…
I’m sitting here with a drink in my living room right this moment scrolling through this site to check for older comments, and guess what? I’m listening to episode 13 of Horror Corridor right now to remind myself of something I’d said back then that someone asked me about! No joke. I can’t believe this. This might be a sign.
Haha bro I think it just might be. Make it happen and I’ll be there for it, brother!
Thanks to you guys, I can finally say I’ve seen a movie more perplexing and, frankly, weird than Eraserhead! 😀
Hope you enjoyed, sir!
